The Day of the Miner Worker is celebrated every year in the region of Kemerovo, in the Kuzbass coalfield. Siberia, known for its very important natural resources, is one of the nerve centers of Russian energy. Each year, the mining companies organize a charity day, the goal of which is to give homes that most need coal reserves for heating.

 

This year, Kuzbassrazrezugol (part of UMMC) decided to donate nearly 25.5 thousand tons of coal that will benefit more than 6,000 homes. This coal is essential for those families whose energy needs are high, especially in winter. Kuzbassrazrezugol also donates to its employees to improve their quality of life throughout the year.
