Kuzbassrazrezugol will set four national professional standards in 2021

Kuzbassrazrezugol (an enterprise of the UMMC raw materials complex) is starting to work on the third national occupational standard – “Technological Vehicle Driver”. In total, by 2021, the sectoral working group led by the coal company “Kuzbassrazrezugol” will establish four national occupational standards in the field of surface mining in Russia.

“This is a big job, and although we already have a lot of experience in this field, we understand that the deadlines are quite tight: everything should be ready by the end of October 2021, – comments Diana Shcherbakova, commissioner of the sectoral working group and head of the department of work organization of JSC “Coal Company “Kuzbassrazrezugol”. – That is why, as last year, we have divided the development of the components of three standards among the coal companies that are members of the sectoral working group, and our company has taken over the entire work on the development of the national occupational standard – “Technological Vehicle Operator”.

Other coal companies are to form the breakdowns of the standards “Conveyor Operator”, “Drilling Rig Operator” and “Miner-Bottler” in the working methods section, while the JSC “Kuzbassrazrezugol” will develop the models of the occupational standards and the explanatory notes for each of them.

The draft version of the national occupational standard “Technological Vehicle Operator” was presented to the members of the sectoral working group for review at the beginning of March. Recommendations and clarifications from colleagues will be incorporated into the model, after which it will be presented again for review. The specialists of the coal company “Kuzbassrazrezugol” plan to complete the formation of this occupational standard by July 2021. On the basis of the national occupational standards, uniform qualification requirements will be developed for employees of all enterprises in the sector.
