For the third year running, the regional competition of the World Children’s Winners Games was held in Verkhniaïa Pychma, in the region of the Ural. The competition took place in the Sports Hall of the UMMC.

One hundred children from the region of Yekaterinburg took part in the competition. These children all have won common trait: they won the fight against cancer. The purpose of this event, supported by the Deti Rossii foundation, is to raise awareness about childhood cancer, but also act as a beacon of hope for those who are still fighting. The competition was also the perfect opportunity for the children to meet each other and communicate in a playful and creative environment. In the end, ten of them had the chance to be chosen for the final competition in Moscow on July 7th.
